This programme is for children from underprivileged families for std. 1 to 9 of Govt Schools in Gujarat of Jhagadia taluka Bharuch district. Apart from formal education they are provided with life skill activities such as hygiene, family and social responsibilities. They have been given exposure visits to banks, post office and panchayat offices, public administration offices. Celebration of important occasions like festivals like Diwali, Navratri , Holi etc. and birth anniversaries of leaders like Swami Vivekananda, Gandhiji etc. gives them understanding about culture as well as learnings from the life of leaders of our nation. Tutorial classes are now shifted in separate new campus for children education having different facilities like playground and different classrooms with the community support. Since June 2014, the mobile education project has been started in some of the nearby villages of Jhagadia. There is a mobile van donated for this purpose under CSR activities of “Waghbakri tea group”. With the help of this van this project has been running successfully in 16 villages of Jhagadia block’s Govt schools in Gujarat. The practical education of curriculum of math, science and moral education as well as of life skills is provided.
In these activities total 17943 children have been participated since 2002 till 2023.
